Neighborhood Security

Guard House

Eagle Bluff is under 24-hour surveillance.  If you have an emergency call 911.  For Non-Emergencies call the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office at (423)622-0022.

Neighborhood Watch

Eagle Bluff has a Neighborhood Watch Program.  Contact the President @ EagleBluffHOABoard@gmail.com for more information.

Safety starts at home

Always lock your doors and windows and vehicles.

Be careful hiding keys outside your home.

People who want in ... know where to look.  Put your keys in a glass jar and bury it, or find another way to make your keys difficult to find.  If your fake rock is in an obvious place, it will be found.

Add Motion Detection Lights and Video Cameras

Ensure they are high and out of reach.

Get a monitored alarm system.

Post sign out front and use window decals.

Install cameras on the inside AND outside of your home

Keep entrance to residence clear of clutter, no hiding places

Use simple timers to turn lights off and on throughout the day

This is especially helpful when you are on vacation to make it look like someone is home.

Never answer the door without knowing who it is. Many burglars with pose as a contractor to see inside your home or if you are even there. Do not let roofers on your roof unless you have called them. They may damage it while saying they are inspecting it.

When you go on vacation, or if you see suspicious activity, put your house on a watch list. Call the Sheriff's Office at (423) 622-0022. Ask to create a CAD card.
